Cabinets
A Kitchen Magician resurfaces your cabinets on location without the mess of removing the existing cabinets thus leaving you without the use of your kitchen for weeks. Once on location, our technician uses extreme care to protect your home. From the moment we arrive, drop cloths are placed strategically to minimize any excessive debris into your home and on personal items. An exhaust sysytem is put in place to minimize dust. Cabinet doors are generally removed and taken back to our shop. This allows both sides of the doors to be professionally refinished so that the beauty extends inside and out. A detailed preparation process results in a beautiful factory finish providing years of enjoyment. The coating to the base is normally applied the 1st day. Doors then go through a 2 day process applying the finish both front and back. Once doors are completed new hardware can be used in the re-installation for if desired. Once your kitchen is completed all trash and drop cloths are removed.

Counter Tops
Kitchen and Bathroom counter tops are resurfaced with our state of the art Stone Fleck Finish. This durable imitation stone finish provides the desirable look of stone at a fraction of the cost of replacement. A Kitchen Magician offers many designer colors to choose from. We can match any décor with ease. It is an Eco-friendly product that is preferred by consumers today. You will never have to reseal or polish this finish and it is incredibly easy to clean. Just wipe with a damp cloth or use your favorite non-abrasive cleaner. As with any countertop surface, using the counter as a cutting board is not recommended. A Kitchen Magician guarantees our counter tops for a minimum of 5 years.
Bath Tubs
Is your bathtub ugly or just hard to clean? Has it lost its luster? Maybe its just the wrong color. Bathtubs of all types can be resurfaced to look like new and only takes a few hours to do. A Kitchen Magician never cuts corners when prepping the tub for refinishing.
To prepare ahead of time, it is best for you to remove all personal items and shower curtain from the bathroom area. We will take care of the rest! Old caulking is removed from between the tub and tile. The tub is cleaned with professional strength cleaners and in addition the tub is etched to ensure the tub is properly prepared. Any chips will be filled and sanded making it smooth with the rest of the tub surface and undetectable. The tub surround and the floor are covered and protected. We also set up an exhaust system to minimize any odor or discomfort. A primer coat is applied to the tub and allowed to dry. Then several finish coats of the tub finish is applied. Tile
Shower walls, floor and tub surrounds can look better than new. We offer traditional porcelain-like finishes and stone fleck finishes. Both have become quite popular with options to add color or contrast to shower floor or walls when desired. A similar process is used on tile as the bathtub. All old caulk is removed. The tile and grout are thoroughly cleaned and etched. All grout is repaired to eliminate cracks in the grout lines. This ensures the best quality and the elimination of mildew after the process. You never have to re-grout after A Kitchen Magician has refinished your shower stall. With so many choices, why live with a hard to clean, out dated shower?

F.A.Q.
Q. How long does the finish last?
A. You can expect to get up to 10 or more years with normal wear.
Q. Can I cut on my resurfaced tops?
A. No type of counter top should be used as a cutting board. It is not a sanitary practice.
Q. How do you recommend that I clean the resurfaced area?
A. The surface is a non-porous and it cleans easily with common household disinfectants. No need for abrasives.
Q. Will it chip?
A. Chips are rare however not impossible if struck with a sharp or heavy object. If this does happen it can be easily repaired.
Q. Can I put hot items on it?
A. A pot holder should be used for very hot items.
Q. Do I have to remove the kitchen sink?
A. It is not necessary however if you plan to replace the sink any time soon it is best to remove it and replace it after the resurface is completed.
Q: How long has this process been around? I have never heard of it.
A.Bathtub and Tile resurfacing has been around for more than 30 years. Countertop resurfacing developed a little later mostly in drab solid colors. With the ever growing demand for alternatives to replacement the refinishing industry has invested in and improved the look and durability of products available today

A. You will receive a 5-year written guarantee from the date of application.
The Process
1. Everything in the area is covered with paper and plastic.
2. Exhaust system is set up.
3. Counter tops are sanded down. Any nicks or repairs are done at this time.
If bathtub or tile is refinished the surface is cleaned, etched and prepared.
4. 2 coats of epoxy adhesive primer is applied to the tops with a low pressure spraying system.
5. The desired coating is applied over the adhesive primer.
6. The Stone Fleck is clear coated the following morning for ultimate durabilty unless standard one color application (tubs) is applied in which case only one day process is required.
7. Paper is removed to leave you with a beautiful modern look.
8. Stand back look and smile.
Usable in as little as 24 hours from completion but will continue to harden for maxium durability up to 72 hours
